Terms and Conditions of Use

1. Scope and acceptance

These Terms and Conditions of Use (the Terms) govern access to cozelia.com and its content (the Website), operated by the entity identified in the Legal Notice and Company Information. By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.

These Terms govern only the Website as an editorial, comparison and referral service. They do not govern contracts for products purchased from third-party sellers. Those contracts are made directly between the visitor and the seller under the seller's own terms.

2. Definitions

• Operator: the entity that operates the Website, identified in the Legal Notice.
• User: any person who accesses or uses the Website.
• Seller: a third party that offers and sells a product on its own website or platform.
• Affiliate Partner: a seller, platform or network that may pay the Operator a commission for an eligible referral.
• Content: text, images, graphics, comparisons, reviews, links, software and other material made available through the Website.

3. Affiliate model and no direct sale

Cozelia selects and presents products and may provide editorial descriptions, comparisons and guides. Unless a page expressly states otherwise, Cozelia:

• does not act as the seller or reseller of the products shown;
• does not take product payments or enter into product-sale contracts;
• does not control the seller's inventory, pricing, delivery or fulfilment;
• does not administer the seller's cancellation, return, refund or product-warranty process;
• does not receive payment-card or delivery information entered on the seller's website.

Following a product link takes the User to the relevant Seller. The Seller's identity, terms, price and policies should be reviewed before placing an order.

4. Seller responsibilities

The Seller is responsible for the sales contract and, where applicable, for:

• product information required at the point of sale;
• price, taxes, delivery charges and availability;
• payment processing, order confirmation and invoicing;
• dispatch, delivery estimates and tracking;
• statutory cancellation rights, returns and refunds;
• legal conformity guarantees, commercial warranties and after-sales support.

Questions about an existing order must be addressed to the Seller named in the order confirmation. Cozelia may help identify the correct support channel but cannot make decisions on the Seller's behalf.

5. Prices, availability and content accuracy

We aim to keep editorial content useful and accurate, but prices, promotions, specifications, stock and delivery estimates may change without notice. Information displayed by the Seller at the final stage of purchase prevails over information shown on Cozelia. Users must verify material details on the Seller's website before ordering.

Images may be illustrative. Colours and proportions may vary according to display settings, product revisions or the Seller's current listing.

6. Affiliate links and commissions

The Website contains affiliate links. If a User makes an eligible purchase after following one of those links, the Operator may receive a commission from the Seller or affiliate network. This does not normally increase the price paid by the User. Further information is available in the Affiliate Disclosure.

7. Editorial independence

Commercial relationships may influence which products are available for referral, but they do not remove our obligation to distinguish factual information, editorial opinion and advertising. Sponsored content or paid placement will be identified where required. Rankings and recommendations may consider relevance, product information, availability, commercial terms and editorial judgement.

8. Intellectual property

The Website's original branding, layout, text, graphics, software and editorial material are owned by the Operator or used under licence and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Product names, trademarks, logos and third-party images belong to their respective owners and are used for identification, description or lawful promotional purposes.

Users may view and print reasonable extracts for personal, non-commercial use. No material may be copied, republished, sold, scraped at scale, modified, framed or commercially exploited without prior permission or another lawful basis.

9. Permitted and prohibited use

Users must use the Website lawfully, in good faith and in a way that does not interfere with other users or the Website's operation. Users must not:

• attempt unauthorised access to systems, accounts or data;
• introduce malware, harmful code or abusive automated traffic;
• circumvent security, rate limits or access restrictions;
• submit unlawful, misleading, infringing or fraudulent material;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent an affiliation;
• use Website content to train or operate a competing commercial database without permission where permission is legally required.

10. Website availability

We may update, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Website for maintenance, security, legal or business reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, systems or legal rights.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not responsible for:

• acts, omissions, products, services or policies of a Seller or other third party;
• changes in price, stock, specifications, promotion or delivery information controlled by third parties;
• loss arising from reliance on information that the User failed to verify with the Seller;
• temporary interruption, external attacks, network failure or events outside reasonable control;
• indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or any mandatory rights of consumers.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and referral. Third-party websites are outside our control. A link does not constitute a guarantee of the third party's content, security, availability or conduct. Users should read the third party's terms, privacy information and purchasing conditions.

13. Personal data and cookies

Processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Cookies and similar technologies are described in the Cookie Policy, including how to manage or withdraw consent.

14. Changes

We may amend these Terms to reflect changes to law, technology, services or business operations. The version published on this page, identified by the date above, is the current version. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by law. Material changes may be highlighted through the Website.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply in the country where an EU consumer habitually resides. For a consumer, jurisdiction lies with the court determined by mandatory consumer law. For a User acting in a professional or business capacity, the courts at the Operator's registered office have exclusive jurisdiction where such a clause is valid.

Disputes concerning a product purchase generally concern the relevant Seller, not Cozelia. Consumers may consult the European Commission's current information on alternative dispute resolution. The former EU Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued in 2025.
