This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies may be used on cozelia.com, why they are used, how long they remain active and how you can manage or withdraw your choices.
Cozelia is an affiliate website. We do not sell products directly. We refer visitors to partner sellers and may earn a commission from eligible purchases, at no additional cost to the visitor.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on a device when a website is visited. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, software development kits and identifiers that can store or read information from a browser or device.
- First-party cookies are set by cozelia.com.
- Third-party cookies are set by another domain, such as a service provider, advertiser, seller or affiliate network.
- Session cookies expire when the browser session ends.
- Persistent cookies remain until their stated expiry date or until they are deleted.
2. Current website status
Current implementation. Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Signals, Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API are configured as one measurement stack. Google and Meta advertising measurement may be used for attribution, remarketing and suppression audiences. Browser and server copies of the same Meta event use a matching event identifier so they are deduplicated. The initial consent state is configured as granted. Selecting “Necessary only” updates analytics and advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation signals to denied and stops new Meta event dispatches. The preference is stored in browser local storage under the key cz-consent and can be changed from “Cookie preferences” in the footer.
3. Why affiliation matters
When a visitor follows a product link, the visitor is redirected to a third-party seller, such as Amazon or another partner. The purchase, payment, delivery and support relationship then takes place on the seller's website. An affiliate identifier may be used to attribute an eligible purchase to Cozelia. Technologies operating on the seller's website are controlled by that seller or affiliate network and are described in its own privacy and cookie information.

5. Categories of technology
5.1 Strictly necessary technologies
These technologies support core operation, security and privacy choices. They do not require consent where they are strictly necessary to provide a service requested by the user.

5.3 Analytics technologies
Analytics tools help us understand aggregated use, page performance and navigation. Third-party analytics are activated only after consent where consent is required.

5.4 Advertising and remarketing technologies
Advertising technologies may measure campaigns, limit repeated advertising, create remarketing audiences or exclude people who have already completed a relevant action. Google Signals may associate measured website activity with information from signed-in Google users who have enabled Ads Personalization and consented to that association. These technologies are not activated before consent where consent is required.

5.5 Affiliate technologies
Affiliate technologies attribute an eligible order or purchase to the referring website. For orders submitted on cozelia.com, the server may transmit the order fields required by the relevant offer together with IP address, User-Agent, campaign parameters and pseudonymous order/device identifiers for routing, deduplication, fraud prevention and status reconciliation.

The exact names and duration used by a third party may change. The third party's current documentation controls for technologies on its domain.
6. Consent
Where consent is required, non-essential technologies remain disabled until a visitor makes a choice. The visitor may accept all optional categories, reject them or select individual categories. Refusing optional technologies does not prevent access to the website's essential content.
Consent may be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before the choice was changed.
7. Managing or withdrawing a choice
7.1 Cozelia cookie preferences
Use the Cookie preferences link in the website footer to reopen the privacy controls and update or withdraw a choice. The new preference applies from that point onward.
7.2 Browser settings
Most browsers allow users to inspect, block and delete cookies or site data. Relevant controls are generally available under privacy, security or site-data settings. Blocking all storage may affect essential website features.

9. Retention
Each technology is retained only for the period stated above or in the current provider documentation, unless it is deleted earlier. Consent records may be kept for the period needed to demonstrate compliance and apply the visitor's choice.
10. Children
The website is not designed to profile children. Parents and guardians should configure browser and device controls appropriate to the child's age and contact us if they believe data has been collected inappropriately.
11. Updates
We may update this policy when technologies, providers or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version. Where a change materially affects consent, visitors may be asked to make a new choice.
